STUDENT FEATURE – Meet Elleigh!

Elleigh began her journey at UDC less than 2 years ago and in that time she has blossomed into a confident little performer with her eyes set on the horizon. Let’s see what she has to say about her experience at Universal.

Age: 5
Classes at UDC: 6’s Performance Group, Primary ADA Ballet, Grade 1 ADA Jazz/Tap, Junior Singing, Junior Acting, Acro.

Elleigh, what do you love most about your classes?
I love all my beautiful teachers and friends.

What is your favourite style of dance?
My favourite classes are Ballet and Little Tumblers.

Why is dancing so important to you?
It makes me happy and I have lots of fun. It keeps me healthy and flexible.

How do you feel about what you have achieved so far since being at UDC?
I feel very happy with everything I have learnt. When I first started I didn’t know how to cartwheel, now I can cartwheel and do back walk overs and lots more.

A quick note from Elleigh’s Mum:
When we first enrolled Elleigh into UDC she had no experience with dance. Her very first end of year concert was super cute. She is now in the under 6’s Performance Team and has a beautiful group of friends. I am amazed at the level of dancing she is at now in only two short years. Her exam results say it all!!  I have seen her confidence grow not only in dancing but at school as well. I am very excited to see what another year brings.
